Taylor Swift Put Distance Between Travis Kelce & His Friend.
Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce has seen his life change quite a bit ever since he began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift back in 2024. And it seems like the high-profile relationship has put some distance in one of his friendships, too.
FS1’s Nick Wright is a prominent sports media personality as the host of “First Things First” as well as his podcast “What’s Wright? With Nick Wright.” He previously had a good friendship with Travis Kelce and hung out with him often. And while it seems like Kelce is still quite fond of the media personality, it sounds like his relationship has put some distance in that friendship.
Travis recently brought up his fond feelings for Wright during the latest episode of his “New Heights” podcast when he and his brother began discussing the salary cap and proposed bringing salary cap experts onto their show.
“Who should we have on?” Jason asked on the podcast. “Obviously, the two big ones for both of us are Howie (Roseman) and (Brett) Veach, the two general managers for our respective teams. … We could go outside of the organization and go with someone who maybe is used to working in the NFL or works in the media. Nick Wright threw his hat in the ring on Twitter. Known Kansas City Chiefs homer.”
Wright heard the shoutout and was glad to hear from his friend, but he also admitted that he hasn’t really spoken to Travis ever since he began dating Taylor Swift.
