This year, Kansas City Chiefs were one step away from becoming the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowls. However, Philadelphia Eagles robbed them of that dream, exposing the weakness of the Chiefs’ offensive line.
Looking ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft, Kansas City would be looking to reinforce and accompany Patrick Mahomes so that this does not happen again.
However, and despite Pat’s efforts to shine and make the team shine, there are fans who did not take him into account when choosing the best quarterbacks.
In the social network X, formerly Twitter, the user @NFL_DovKleiman made known what for him were the 4 best QBs in history and reflected them in a photograph that shows them as the faces of Mount Rushmore. There you can see Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana and Aaron Rodgers. Obviously, this generated a lot of debate.
Although several users agreed with this list, some changed some of the quarterbacks to Drew Brees, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Marino, Josh Allen, Kirk Cousins and John Elway.
However, there were others who were taken by surprise by Patrick’s absence: “Replace Rodgers with Mahomes and you’re Golden” said one user, “Mahomes is above Montana and Rodgers” said another.
Who could join Patrick and join the Draft?
At this point, several names have been mentioned to reinforce the Chiefs offensive line. One of them is Ohio State’s Josh Simmons, although he is recovering from a torn patellar tendon in his left knee and probably won’t be able to start the season. Donovan Jackson, also from Ohio State, is also on the team’s roster.
