Jackson Mahomes has no doubts about his brother Patrick Mahomes and shows up to support him after a rough patch.
After a tough end to the 2024 NFL season, Patrick Mahomes is wasting no time turning the page. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, still reeling from a lopsided 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, has already begun laying the groundwork for what he hopes will be a triumphant return to the NFL’s biggest stage.
On Sunday, Mahomes posted a video to his Instagram account showing himself powering through a workout with longtime personal trainer Bobby Stroupe.
Mahomes sets the tone early as OTAs approach
The clip captured the intensity and purpose Mahomes is bringing into the offseason, and his caption left no doubt about his motivation heading into 2025: “We shall be back to the Bowl next year.”
The message was simple but loud-a declaration of intent from a quarterback who has already proven himself on the game’s grandest stage.
With three Super Bowl appearances and two wins under his belt, Mahomes knows what it takes to climb the mountain. Now, after coming up short in a season finale that exposed key weaknesses, he’s determined to lead the Chiefs on another run.
Joining in the comments was none other than Mahomes’ younger brother Jackson, who showed his support with a quick and fired-up message of his own: “GO TIMEEE”
The Chiefs’ offseason officially begins in just a few weeks, with Organized Team Activities (OTAs) set to start on April 21.
That gives Mahomes and his teammates a small window to reset and prepare for what promises to be a pivotal season. Kansas City will enter its 13th year under head coach Andy Reid, and the expectations remain sky-high-even after the painful end to their three-peat hopes.
