However, he admitted to Taylor and Crowder that he didn’t know who the seven-time Olympic medalist was at the time.

I didn’t know who she was at the time, but like, the first thing I saw was she’s got a bunch of followers, so in my mind, I’m like, she gotta be good,” Owens said.

The Packers star then told the hosts that he was busy at training camp in college when Biles was a multi-Olympic gold medalist.

Owens and Biles became an item in 2020 and the rest is history.

The two eventually got engaged and got married earlier this year.

That response caused plenty of criticism from fans on X, formerly known as Twitter.

On Thursday night, Owens posted on Instagram and appeared to respond to criticism from fans.

He posted wedding pics of himself and Biles as the caption read: “Unbothered.
