Buenos Aires is getting ready to receive one of the most important athletes of all times. Simone Biles, the most decorated American gymnast in history and a reference in the defense of mental health in sport, will be in Buenos Aires this October 8 and 9 with two unmissable activities.
If you are not an athlete or gymnast, you have surely heard of Simone Biles. With 11 Olympic medals and 23 world titles, Simone Biles revolutionized artistic gymnastics and became a global symbol not only for her achievements, but also for making visible the importance of taking care of mental health among high-performance athletes.
This October 8th and 9th, Simone Biles will visit Buenos Aires to share her story. On October 8, Simone will give a motivational talk at the City Government Headquarters, while on October 9, she will be part of a day aimed at young talents, at the Olympic Park. In the talk, Simone will talk about her journey, her challenges and the importance of resilience and self-confidence. While on October 9, it will be a day aimed at young talents who will be able to train and learn techniques directly from the best gymnast of all time.
