Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens sported major country vibes while attending the last day Houston Rodeo over the weekend.
On Sunday, Biles snapped a picture as they headed out to the event, and the couple definitely looked like they were paying homage to Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” album. For the occasion, Biles was seen wearing a dark brown mocha mousse button corduroy vest, which she paired alongside white lace shorts. She completed her outfit with a pair of brown suede cowboy boots.
As for Owens, he wore a navy blue DEPT sleeveless hoodie, which he paired alongside light wash ripped jeans, and a pair of snakeskin boots. Biles has showcased plenty of noteworthy fashion looks over these past few months, becoming a burgeoning style icon. While on vacation earlier this month, she donned a 1970s bohemian look in a flowy white halter top and maxi skirt, which was just in time for the warmer months ahead, where maxi dresses will once again be a staple as the 1970s are predicted to make a full comeback in the fashion scene.
Another standout fashion moment from Biles were the pair of black slingback pumps she wore while making a surprise visit to the “Today” show to showcase her support for anchor Hoda Kotb on her final day. Those shoes were made with leather, and curved in the upper to create an almond-toe design. Also present was a silver oval on the back, and a 3 inch stiletto heel. For her appearance, the gold medalist paired her shoes with g a colorful jacket reflective of the season, and called Kotb her “Olympic mom,” noting that she was grateful for the platform Kotb had given her along with her teammates over the years.
