Watch: Harrison Butker kicks Chiefs to thrilling win with 51-yard field goal
When the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals meet you can be certain it is going to be a close, low-scoring game that is going to come down to a kick at the end.
Sunday’s 26-25 Chiefs win was no exception.
It ended with Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker drilling a 51-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Chiefs to a 2-0 record and send the Bengals to their third consecutive 0-2 start.
Here is a look at Butker’s kick.

There are a couple of interesting developments about this drive.
The first is that the Chiefs were aided by a huge pass interference penalty that helped set the Chiefs up in Cincinnati territory.
LOTS of speculation about the Chiefs and the Refs out there, but you can’t run through a guys back before the ball gets there and complain when they throw a flag. NO QUESTION THAT’S PASS INTERFERENCE. pic.twitter.com/QO97Uk0LhW

The other is that as soon as the Chiefs got into Butker’s range, the usually aggressive Andy Reid seemed content to play for a long field goal without getting any closer or taking any risks.
He knows he has one of the NFL’s best kickers, and he trusted him. It worked.
