Travis Kelce, one of the highest paid tight ends in the NFL, has been with his billionaire pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift, for close to two years now. But before he met the pop sensation, he was in a relationship with social media influencer Kayla Nicole for over five years. The two separated much before Travis Kelce met Taylor Swift, but Kayla Nicole has continued to receive hate.
Kayla Nicole has been open about the backlash she’s received amid her ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift, and she revealed her true thoughts about the pop star during her time on Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test.
Earlier this year, the social media star and sports journalist, Kayla Nicole appeared on the show Fox’s Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test, where in the second episode, she addressed the criticism she has received.
Kayla Nicole said, “Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it’s been overwhelming. I’ve never experienced anything like it.”
Kayla Nicole later teared up in the episode as she said, “It’s pretty constant and exhausting…It’s inadvertently affected me to the point where it makes me question my overall value as a person.”
The social media influencer has also made it clear that she has no hatred for the billionaire pop star, Taylor Swift, but she just wants the comparison to be stopped.
She said, “I think there’s just the comparison and it’s just like on loop…I really like, like, her. I think she’s very talented.”
