Travis Kelce demands meeting with Kanye West over Taylor Swift controversies

There is a history between Taylor Swift and Kanye West in the music world and it is not a pretty one.

West recently unleashed a horrendous sex rant about Swift and it led to the pop star seeking a cease and desist order against the rapper.

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, boyfriend of Swift, is not willing to let it lie there. He knows that West has been targeting Swift for many years and the former partner of Kim Kardashian recently alleged that Swift had sex with both Justin Bieber and Harry Styles.

The rapper has not presented any evidence that it happened. However, he has gone on the record stating it was “ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE.”

An insider told Athlon Sports that Kelce now has a genuine desire to meet Kanye and speak with him about these actions and how damaging they are to Swift.

“Taylor’s clearly upset, and Travis is obviously supporting her,” the source said. “There must be consequences. West would never dare say this to her face.”

Potential legal issues for West
The cease and desist puts West on notice to refrain from making any more statements about Swift. If he continues, the damages could escalate and there could be a potential defamation action filed by Swift’s lawyers.

Another source explained that the situation has gone beyond just gossip from West. He is now sexually harassing her, defaming her and is trying to cause damage to her reputation and career.

Their tensions began over a decade ago during the infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech, proclaiming that Beyonce deserved the award instead.

While the dust from that moment never truly settled, a series of public interactions and fallouts since then-including a dispute over a phone call and a controversial music video-have kept the animosity between the two artists simmering. Now, in 2025, it seems the feud has reached a boiling point once again.
