A subtle nod to ‘Reputation’ in her outfit?
Swift, who hasn’t posted on Instagram since wrapping up the tour, appeared in the video wearing a long-sleeved black top and plaid pants-a look reminiscent of her Reputation-era aesthetic.
But it was her choice of jewelry that sent fans into a frenzy. Around her neck, Swift wore a delicate snake-shaped necklace, an accessory that Swifties immediately identified as a potential Easter egg referencing Reputation.
The snake has long been associated with Swift’s sixth studio album, as she famously embraced the symbol following public feuds and media scrutiny in 2016 and 2017. The necklace’s ouroboros design-a snake biting its own tail-carries deep symbolic meaning, representing rebirth and transformation, both themes central to Reputation.
Swift’s attention to detail in her public appearances has led fans to believe that every fashion choice is intentional. “She knows exactly what she’s doing,” one fan wrote on social media, while another added, “That necklace is screaming Reputation (Taylor’s Version).”
