Apparently, fans of the country singer are not keen on Swift after making their feelings known at a concert in Indianapolis on Friday. There doesn’t appear to be a reason for it either, only that Waller and Swift have both released country music before.

Wallen’s fans spitefully booed Taylor Swift Friday night after the country singer joked about Swift at his at Lucas Oil Stadium concert in Indianapolis.

“This is the single most-attended concert in the history of this building, and we’re the first to do it for two nights in a row,” Wallen said while performing at the show, via a fan video. “I’m going to say that until Taylor Swift comes to town.”

While some fans roared in approval for Swift, the vast majority of people in the audience started booing the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer. Could it be that she is actually seen as an ‘Anti-Hero’, as her famous hit song notes?

It seemed that for a brief moment, the American stuck up for his fellow country singer after pleading with his fans not to boo her. It seems there is no bad blood between the two, which makes it all the more confusing as to why he’d crack a joke at her expense.

However, he quickly backtracked and praised the fans for supporting him: “We ain’t got to boo, we ain’t got to boo,” Wallen said in response to the reaction from fans, before adding: “I appreciate that. I know y’all got my back, though.”

While Wallen made history at the Indianapolis venue, Swift has broken several records of her own this past year, with her Eras tour raking in $1 billion to make it highest-grossing tour of all time, according to Rolling Stone.

The 34-year-old is also believed to have had more No.1 albums than any woman in history and collected her 14th Grammy award at the ceremony this year
