Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Engagement Plans Have Not Changed as They ‘Make the Most’ of Their Time Off

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have maintained a low profile since the Super Bowl on purpose. Sources spoke to Us Weekly about what the couple has been up to and why they are in no rush to be in the spotlight again.

Their plans for getting engaged have not changed. A source told Us Weekly in February that they are both “on the same page about taking the next step.” But they are currently enjoying their relationship in private, a source told the outlet today: “Without the outside noise, they can focus on each other.”

That source added that Swift and Kelce wanted a “normal life” after Swift’s Eras Tour and Kelce’s NFL season ended. “Just doing nothing at all has been a dream of theirs for a while,” the insider shared.

They’ve been traveling, seeing each other’s families, watching movies together, and working out, the source said. Geographically, the insider added, “Taylor and Travis have been between Kansas [City], Nashville, Rhode Island, and New York.”

A second source revealed that their relationship is thriving. “[They] needed time for themselves,” the insider said. “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love. They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”

Kelce in particular wants to navigate things differently after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted,” a third source said. As he looks ahead to the 2025/2026 season, “he wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”

A fourth source added that the couple really is “making the most of their time off” before Kelce begins training camp this summer. “They’re fully living their best lives,” the insider said.

Kelce and Swift were last seen together in Montana in late March. Days before, they were photographed in matching outfits on a date in New York City.
