Travis Kelce is known for dominating the football field, but his latest award has nothing to do with touchdowns or receptions. Instead, it came from the world of music.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end earned an iHeartRadio Music Award for “Favorite Surprise Guest”, thanks to his memorable appearance on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stage in London.
The now-iconic moment, where Kelce lifted Swift into his arms, sent fans into a frenzy and quickly became one of the most talked-about pop culture crossovers of the year.
Kelce’s big win wasn’t just a testament to his growing stardom-it also beat out some major competition, including a nomination featuring himself and his Chiefs teammates, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones.
Kelce’s surprise guest appearance steals the spotlight
Kelce wasn’t the only nominee in the “Favorite Surprise Guest” category-he was actually competing against himself.
His second nomination came from his appearance at country star Morgan Wallen’s concert at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, where he joined Mahomes and Jones for an unexpected on-stage moment.
