Former NFL star and New Heights podcast host Jason Kelce recently discussed the prospect of welcoming a son with his wife, Kylie Kelce, on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast. Jason mentioned in the podcast, however, that while a baby boy would be “fun,” he was “just so thankful” for the family they already had, which consists of daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, who is 5 months. He then repeated his father’s sentiment of sorts by saying, “whatever is meant to be will be,” and added that he is “so blessed” with their daughters’ health and personalities.

Jason mentioned the idea that the couple had different disagreements when it comes to family expansion: he wanted three, a nod to his childhood with Travis Kelce, and Kylie’s dream was five kids. Now settled on four children, he said, ‘That could be it,’ but nothing is ever confirmed. However, when quizzed whether he envisaged having a son, he smiled and added: “If a boy happened, that would be fun,” before quickly doubling down on the idea that healthy, happy kids are what matters.

More recently, the talk of Jason’s vasectomy, which we fondly call “the V-word,” has come up with increasing regularity. Although the couple has not settled on a final answer, this evidence suggests that the two are within striking distance of a judgment about finishing their family planning.

As for Kylie, previously, she opened up about the public pressure for them to go for a boy. Before the birth of Finnley, she stated that the recommendation they “should have a boy” was “just infuriating.” She quipped about the irony of the thought, considering her daughters already enjoy playing catch with Jason. And, she joked, one boy among four girls would probably be a little doll for them.
