She Had It Coming” Kayla Nicole Fires Back At Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce
Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, and Taylor Swift certainly seem to have a feud brewing. In response to lyrics in Swift’s new song, Nicole took to the internet to make her opinion known.
Kelce and Nicole dated from 2017-2022. Prior to the start of the 2023 NFL season, Kelce reached out to Swift. Clearly, that was a wise move on his part. He got engaged to the Grammy Award winner this past summer. It’s unclear when they’ll tie the knot though.
On Friday morning, Swift dropped her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” Fans are convince she took a jab at Kelce’s ex-girlfriend in the song “Opalite.”
Here’s the line that might be directed at Nicole: “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”
Nicole may have fired back at Swift with a subtle message on Instagram. She shared a clip of Eva Marcille on “America’s Next Top Model.”
Marcielle was asked by Tyra Banks how she compares herself to other girls out there. Her response: “I don’t compare myself to other girls.”
Could this be a shot at Swift? It’s certainly possible.
Nicole also shared a few photos from a dinner she attended in Los Angeles.
“What an honor to share a table with some of the most iconic ‘girlfriends’ of all time. Women whose art has been a mirror and a reminder of what’s possible at every stage of my womanhood,” Nicole wrote for her caption.
Nicole is known as a fitness influencer at this stage in her career, but she graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in broadcast journalism.
While she continues to share her thoughts on the NFL, her main focus is building up her fitness brand, Tribe Therepe.
“It’s focusing on the mental health component of working out, which is really, really important for me and really resonates with me, and really just encouraging people to mentally take care of themselves,” Nicole said, via PEOPLE. “I think that when your mind is in a healthy place, your body will follow.”
