Rashee Rice leaves Chiefs-Chargers matchup with right knee injury…. WATCH VIDEO FOR DETAILS
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice left the team’s Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers in the first quarter due to what appeared to be a right knee injury. Trailing 7-0, quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw an interception into the hands of Chargers cornerback Kristian Fulton.
On his return, Rice tracked him down and forced a fumble. But in the process, Mahomes — trying to tackle Fulton — inadvertently drove into Rice’s right knee.

Rice was slow to his feet and had to be helped to the sideline by trainers, who ultimately decided to cart him back to the locker room. Rice laid back in the cart with a towel over his head — a sign that he believed the injury to be serious.
Less than 15 minutes after the play, the Chiefs ruled him out for the rest of the game. Rice entered the game with 288 yards — and, through three games, looked to be the most important pass-catcher on the offense.
All the early indications show another devastating blow to Kansas City’s 2024 campaign.
