Prince William prepares for the throne as King Charles is dying
King Charles is making sure that he is making most of his time as he battles cancer and performs his duties as the monarch.
The King is actively trying to keep up with his royal duties and making his presence known while getting treatment in a bid to battle time and make his reign a memorable one.
“Given he had the longest wait in history as heir to the throne, given his age, as well as his current health crisis, he is poignantly aware that time is ticking,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital.
The expert explained that Charles had been “preparing for this role his entire life, being in line for the throne for 70 years.” She added that the King has “thrown himself into the job” as he wants to “make his mark” which is leaving him troubled.
While King Charles refuses to be a “lazy monarch,” Prince William is already taking on a big chunk of the royal duties as he prepares to take on the throne as future king.
