Patrick Mahomes is starting off a new venture with his lucky charm! This offseason, the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback is building his business empire with huge investments. Last month, he launched a ready-to-drink iced coffee brand, Throne Sport Coffee that became the No.1 seller on Amazon after his T-shirt promotion.

Now, once again, he is back into another industry – his favorite food chain. Mahomes earlier dreamt of opening 30 restaurants of Whataburger within seven years in Kansas City. And he is onto it, with a beautiful tribute to his “angel baby” Sterling Skye.

In a recent Instagram story update, Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes shared a snap of the newly opened fast food chain–Whataburger in Sterling Ave. The quarterback launched the restaurant at this location (Sterling Ave) keeping in mind his daughter Sterling as a sweet tribute. Emotional Brittany shared this news alongside a caption, “@patrickmahomes opened a new @whataburger on Sterling Ave (with a holding back tears emoji) in Kansas City!!!” Now like father, as Sterling grows up, she could have some lip-smacking burgers in her father’s special tribute location.

The franchise is operated by KMO Burger LLC, in which Mahomes is a partner. Apart from basic burgers, this food chain also sells hamburgers, shakes, chicken wings, breakfast sandwiches, and more. Missing the franchise after moving to Kansas City and becoming an NFL star, Mahomes invested in KMO Burger, a WhataBurger franchisee, to bring the restaurant to Kansas and Missouri. He aimed to open 30 locations by 2028, with ten already open now. The last franchise opened by Patrick in April is at Truman’s Marketplace shopping center at 12424 S. U.S. Highway 71, in Grandview.
