Mystery Deepens: Jamie Foxx Finally Speaks About P Diddy Rumors
Jamie Foxx has broken his silence regarding the conspiracy theories surrounding his 2023 hospitalization during the filming of his upcoming Netflix comedy special “What Had Happened Was” in Atlanta.
The 56-year-old actor’s comments about Sean “Diddy” Combs have sparked debate, with multiple eyewitnesses offering different versions of what transpired during the October 4-6 tapings at the Alliance Theatre.
Videographer Choke No Joke, who attended two of the three shows, claims Foxx stated that “Diddy was responsible for what happened to him” and that Foxx “is the one who called the FBI” on Combs. According to Choke No Joke, these statements did not appear to be delivered as jokes.
However, another attendee, Dennis L.A. White, who was present at the second and third tapings, recalls a different version. White says Foxx stated,
associates. Prosecutors claim Combs subjected victims to physical, emotional, and verbal abuse during these events.
Following his comedy special tapings, Foxx posted on Instagram, describing the shows as “an artistic explanation of something that went terribly wrong.” He specifically thanked Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, where he received treatment.
It remains unclear whether Foxx’s comments about Diddy will be included in the final cut of the Netflix special. Representatives for Foxx, Combs, and Netflix have not responded to requests for comment.
Combs faces a minimum of 15 years in prison if convicted of the charges against him, with his trial set for May 5, 2025. He continues to maintain his innocence while facing multiple lawsuits alleging similar behavior.
