Kate Middleton’s red Commonwealth Day dress hides a secret message for Donald Trump.
Princess Kate was at her best during the recent Commonwealth Day Service as she turned heads in her red outfit.
Now, there are some wondering whether her attire for the day was actually delivering a political message to the President of the United States Donald Trump.
Some believe that Kate’s decision to wear red was a show of support for Canada, which is currently in a trade war with the USA due to Trump’s policies.
The American president has threatened Canada with historic financial punishment for threatening to impose 25% tariffs on electricity in three US states.
Trump has also continued to antagonize Canada by suggesting it become an American state, saying that joining the USA would ensure the tariffs issue disappears.
Was Kate sending a message?
During the Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, royal editor Matt Wilkinson asked whether Kate’s attire at the Commonwealth Day Service was a message or not.
TalkTV’s royal editor Sarah Hewson admitted she hadn’t thought of that, but noted that Kate made her support for Canadian PM Justin Trudeau clear during his visit to Windsor after Russia invaded Ukraine.
