Jennifer Lopez Took the Revenge Dress Trend to a Whole New, Daring Level Amid Ben Affleck Divorce

Jennifer Lopez is showing the world she’s doing just fine after her ongoing divorce from Ben Affleck and is showing everyone that fact by rocking a seriously daring revenge dress.

In case you missed it, on Sept 6, Lopez arrived at the long-awaited premiere of her and Affleck’s film Unstoppable at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). But she didn’t just arrive in another stunning red carpet look; no, she came in one of the most daring revenge dresses we’ve ever seen, and the internet is losing it. You can see the photos below:

For her first major red carpet event after she and Affleck announced their split, Lopez arrived in a showstopping, mirrored-effect Tamara Ralph gown that was cut in two on the sides.

The silver gown had skin-baring exposures from head to toe, only put together with velvety black bows, all of which made a gorgeous gown that showed off Lopez’s killer figure.

Now, Lopez is no stranger to revenge dresses. After her major splits, she’s taken her red carpet fashion to send a message to her exes, this time directed at Affleck. However, she actually wore another revenge dress back in 2004 at the 61st Annual Golden Globe Awards after they called off their engagement.

She wowed in an orange Michael Kors gown, and it instantly became an iconic revenge dress moment (just like this new one 20 years later).

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002, per People. In 2003, they postponed their wedding and then broke up days before, due to the paparazzi and pressure they faced, and were broken up by 2004.

Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony, but Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20, noting the date of separation is April 26, 2024.
