Jason Kelce and Wife Kylie All Smiles at Philadelphia Phillies Game as Retired NFL Star Throws First Pitch with Fletcher Cox

The newly retired NFL star, 36, played a different kind of sport on Saturday as he attended a baseball game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves in Philadelphia with his wife Kylie McDevitt Kelce — and threw the first pitch.

The special moment was captured in a photo shared by the baseball team on Instagram as Jason made the ceremonial first pitch alongside his former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Fletcher Cox at Citizens Bank Park, where the game was held.

“Today’s first pitch: Go Birds forever 💚,” the Phillies wrote in the caption to the carousel post, adding, “(swipe for a gift from Jason to Bryce).”

In another photo posted on the carousel, Jason — who wore a red and white striped Phillies shirt, jeans and red baseball cap to the game — sure enough provided first baseman Bryce Harper with a gift as he signed his cleats.

Kylie, meanwhile, wore a white sweater with red Phillies lettering and jeans as she smiled alongside her husband in photos taken during the day.

The mom of three — she and Jason share daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1, — even posed for a fun photo alongside a fluffy green Phillies mascot at the game.

Although the couple’s kids didn’t appear to have joined them at the sports event Saturday, Kylie spent some time with Cox’s girlfriend Kaycee Marchetti who also attended the game.

After it was announced earlier this week that he would be throwing the first pitch at the game on Saturday, Jason joked in a post on X (formerly Twitter), “Yes Saturday, not the home opener, and to be clear @fcoxx_91 is gonna have to throw it because my elbow doesn’t work.”

Both Jason and Cox, 33, announced their retirement from the NFL earlier this month. They each spent over 10 years playing together for the Eagles after Jason joined the team in 2011 and Cox joined the year after.

The pair appeared in great spirits during their time at the baseball game together on Saturday.

In other photos posted by both the Phillies and Eagles of their visit, the pair embraced on the pitch and hung out with the players on and off the field in the locker room.

“Got a couple legends in the house today,” the caption read of the joint post, referring to the two former NFL players.

Earlier this month, Jason shared on his podcast with his brother Travis Kelce, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, he feels no different since he retired from the NFL and he still visits the Eagles’ training facility.

“I’m a creature of habit … I feel no different,” he said. “I’m assuming once, you know, organized team activities (OTAs) startup, and especially once training camp and the season starts rolling around, it’ll really start to hit a little bit more. But one week in, yeah, not much different to be honest with you.”
