It’s nice to have a friend who loves performing as much as Taylor Swift.

That’s why the “Life of a Showgirl” singer said “it would be hard to keep” longtime pal Ed Sheeran from performing at her wedding to Travis Kelce.

“It’s like, ‘Ed, if there’s a stage, you know that you’ll be on it,'” she quipped during her Hits Radio interview released Oct. 3. “He knows what people want and he wants to give people what they want.”

But the same can be said about Taylor, who will admittedly jump at the chance at singing at friend’s nuptials, too.

That’s the fun thing about our friendship is we both love performing,” the 36-year-old explained. “We love what we do. We love to get up on stage. It’s actually not that hard to talk either of us into performing at anything.”

Besides, she and Ed, 34, have a “strange, mind-melt thing” when it comes to making music.

“We’ve always had it,” said Taylor, who collaborated with the British singer numerous times over the years. “We always will.”

In fact, the Grammy winner invited Ed to perform “End Game” with her during her Eras Tour’s London stop last year.

“I saw him last weekend, actually, at a wedding of our one of our best friends,” Taylor told Hits Radio, alluding to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s recent nuptials. “And we were just talking about how much we love when he came out on stage with me at Wembley.”

Still, Ed will have to wait a while for his chance to be in the spotlight at Taylor and Travis’ wedding. After all, he has yet to receive a save the date from the couple, who got engaged earlier this summer.

As for why invitations haven’t been sent out? “I want to do the album stuff first,” Taylor explained during her Oct. 3 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, explaining that she’s currently focused on her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl. “The wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan.”
