In an Oklahoma Hall of Fame interview, country music icon Vince Gill spoke well of Taylor Swift and reminisced about their recent performance together. “She’s awesome. I’m crazy about her,” he said, speaking of their acoustic performance of Red at the CMA Awards with Alison Krauss.

Vince Gill also addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding Swift’s attendance at Kansas City Chiefs games, finding the criticism completely unnecessary. “I just laugh when everybody gets so uptight when she goes to football games,” he remarked.
To emphasize Swift’s impact, Gill likened her to some of the most iconic figures in entertainment and sports. “There’s just a handful of people that have that charisma, that thing. They own a room. Dolly Parton, she owns a room. It’s fascinating to watch. I’m a wallflower.”
