The stars of Sports Illustrated’s latest swimsuit edition were out in force in New York City on Thursday night.

Ahead of the upcoming release of the highly-anticipated swimsuit issue – sports stars, models and influencers walked the red carpet for a lavish party at the Hard Rock Hotel in the heart of Manhattan.

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes, Olivia Dunne and Paige Spiranac lead the stars of Sports Illustrated's latest swimsuit edition at New York party.

The stars of the 60th anniversary issue have been teasing its release all week but gathered in the Big Apple for the official launch.

They included Brittany Mahomes and her husband Patrick. However, the three-time Super Bowl winner and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback briefly stood to the side as his wife posed for photographs.

Also among the guests was LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne. The social media sensation, who has built an army of fans in recent years, is currently considering what comes next for her.

A gymnast at LSU, she has the option to return to college for one more year. She’s recently had plenty to celebrate though with boyfriend Paul Skenes making his MLB debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Also in attendance was golf influencer Paige Spiranac.

The 31-year-old made one of the several available covers for the launch and was clearly left thrilled by the honor.

She shared a picture of the cover to her four million Instagram followers and wrote: ‘Ah the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover for the 60th anniversary!’

Earlier this week, Sports Illustrated revealed its four cover models.

They included Gayle King, who showed off her stunning swimsuit body as she made her debut on the front the magazine at age 69.

Joining her for this years cover stars are veterans Kate Upton, Hunter McGrady, and Chrissy Teigen.

All four were pictured at the event on Thursday night – with Teigen’s husband John Legend walking the red carpet. Martha Stewart was also on the red carpet and posed with Upton.

Logan Paul and his fiancée Nina Agdal were also there.

The couple are expecting their first child and the WWE star placed his hand on her stomach as they posed for pictures together.

Mahomes celebrated the launch earlier this week by sharing a video of her photoshoot alongside a Taylor Swift song.

Mahomes and Swift have struck up a friendship over the past year since the singer started dating Chiefs star Travis Kelce and Brittany shared the footage on her Instagram on Tuesday to the Swift song ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’.

The 28-year-old Mahomes, a mother of two, traveled to Belize for the shoot a few months ago but took the latest SI launch as an opportunity to remember the pics.

In a separate Instagram post, Mahomes wrote: ‘What an honor to join the Sports Illustrated family! I’m so grateful for the amazing team of women who give us this incredible platform to be our truest most authentic selves.’
