“We are in some seriously challenging times right now. I don’t know if I would be the best person in this job,” Kelly told the BBC. “I am a lot different than most of these other 100 senators. A grand jury rejected the suggestion that any law had been broken. Kelly expects that Trump will keep coming after him despite the setbacks. “This is not going to end by me going away. I’m going to continue to fight this thing even if it goes all the way to the Supreme Court,” said the senator. Regardless of whether or not Kelly is your first pick for the Democratic nomination, there’s no disputing that he would do an infinitely better job than Trump or JD Vance.
