Jeremy Clarkson criticizes Meghan Markle once more for her extravagant and unroyal pre-birth A-list baby shower for Archie.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, flew to New York by private plane for the shower with her A-list friends before the arrival of her eldest child Archie.
In his column for The Sunday Times, Clarkson criticised both the event and Meghan’s private jet usage, but admitted his own past fondness for the elaborate way of travel.
‘The Duchess of Sussex was criticised for taking a private jet to attend her baby shower in New York. And not just because a baby shower is a stupid, unroyal thing to do,’ Clarkson wrote.
Meghan’s baby shower in February 2019 was criticised by the Queen’s ex-press secretary Dickie Arbiter, who claimed that the celebration is more of a US tradition and goes against British Royal practices
