Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may be keeping things quiet during the NFL offseason, but fans are already buzzing about where the power couple might make their next public appearance. One event at the top of the list? The 2025 Kentucky Derby.
Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, made a solo appearance at Churchill Downs last year while Swift was tied up preparing for the European leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour. With her schedule more open and Kelce in the offseason, many speculate this year’s Derby could be the perfect setting for a high-profile date.
Taylor Swift concert package causes stir
Meanwhile, a Swift-related item up for grabs at the 12th annual Unbridled Eve Derby Gala has stirred even more excitement-and confusion. An auction listing initially offered a “Taylor Swift Package” featuring a signed guitar and two tickets to her 2026 tour. The catch? No such tour has been announced.
Swifties quickly caught wind of the listing and jumped to conclusions. Was this a leak? An early reveal? Not quite. WDRB News later updated the listing, removing the date and replacing it with “two concert tickets for a concert during her next tour.”
Event co-founder Tammy York-Day followed up with a statement, clarifying that the 2026 mention was an error.
“We inadvertently listed an item with an incorrect date,” she said.
“We apologize to the Swiftie Nation-there is no confirmed information on a new tour.”
Despite the correction, many fans weren’t convinced it was a simple mistake. Some questioned how the gala could offer tickets to a tour that hasn’t even been scheduled, while others speculated Swift’s team may have intervened to keep future plans under wraps.
Tour or not, Swift and Kelce’s next move-whether at the Derby or elsewhere-will be watched closely. For now, fans are left to dream up the next chapter in one of pop culture’s most talked-about romances
