Anti-Trump’ Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce gave $5 million to fund ‘No Kings’ protests in US…
Tens of thousands of protests marched and rallied in various US cities on October 18, Saturday, for “No Kings” demonstrations to protest “authoritarianism” under President Donald Trump. Protesters were carrying signs with slogans such as “Nothing is more patriotic than protesting” or “Resist Fascism” and marched towards New York City’s Times Square and rallied by the thousands in parks in Boston, Atlanta and Chicago. Trump’s Republican Party disparaged the demonstrations as “Hate America” rallies.

American pop star Taylor Swift has been linked to “No Kings” protests with many people online claiming that she and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, donated money to the movement. The claim quickly went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, and Threads.
The answer is No. There is no official record or trusted source that confirms Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce donated to the protest in any way. Both stars have not spoken about the ‘No Kings’ protest, and no donation from them has been reported by any verified news outlet.
Taylor Swift is indeed anti-Trump, and she famously endorsed the Democratic Party candidate, Kamala Harris, in the 2024 US election. Taylor Swift also endorsed former President Joe Biden instead of Trump during the 2020 campaign.
But even though she is anti-Trump, there is no proof that she is linked to the ‘No Kings’ protest. She has not posted, not donated, and not promoted the movement publicly.
I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!,” Donald Trump posted on Truth Social after Swift endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris in September 2024. Trump also said on Fox that he preferred the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brittany, and predicted Swift’s political leanings would cost her financially. Trump posted this May “Has anyone noticed that, since I said “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer ‘HOT?’”
Trump also weighed in on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming nuptials, striking a conciliatory tone for the pop superstar he has clashed with in the past.
I wish them a lot of luck,” Trump told reporters during a Cabinet meeting. “I think he’s a great player, I think he’s a great guy. I think that she’s a terrific person, so I wish them a lot of luck.”
