Ahead of Wimbledon, Emma Raducanu takes a shocking step
Emma Raducanu has broken up with her boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli after a year of dating, saying the relationship has “run its course”.
The couple, once frequently seen sharing holiday photos, are no longer together. The Grand Slam tennis champion, who recently missed the French Open, has also unfollowed Agostinelli on social media.
A source told the Sun newspaper that the relationship “had run its course”.
Raducanu now appears fully focused on next month’s Wimbledon, leaving behind memories of holidays in Greece and Mexico with Carlo.
Raducanu has fallen to 205th in the world rankings following an injury-plagued period after her sensational win at the 2021 US Open when she was only 18.
