Beyoncé forced to make major decision as Jay-Z faces rape allegations
Beyoncé is said to have masterminded a huge plan following news that her husband Jay-Z faces allegations of raping a 13-year-old over two decades ago
Beyoncé has been forced to make a decision about Jay-Z as he faces “heinous” rape allegations.
The 55-year-old musician, whose whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, is facing allegations in a civil law suit that he raped a 13-year-old after the 2000 MTV Music Video Award – which he has strongly denied the allegations. A lawsuit, originally filed in New York’s Southern District this past October against P Diddy, was refiled on Sunday naming Carter, as a defendant over an alleged incident at the MTV Awards.
Jay-Z’s accuser who has been identified only under the pseudonym Jane Doe, has claimed that the incident took place after the awards event and in the presence of P Diddy, who is currently remanded in custody as he faces a string of sexual abuse allegations. On Monday night, the rapper stepped out with his wife, Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy, 12, just hours after sharing his devastation that he will have to inform his three children about the allegations.
But sources have now claimed that Beyoncé played a key role in the Song Cry musician’s decision to attend the red carpet premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King with his family. It’s claimed that the Halo songstress was aware that her Roc Nation mogul husband may be dragged into the scandal surrounding P Diddy following their friendship.
“Beyoncé forced Jay-Z to go to the premiere last night,” a source told the Daily Mail. The insider went on to claim that the couple are working with a dedicated crisis specialist to navigate through the allegations on such a public platform. “Beyoncé believes that the best way is to face it head on. Blue Ivy is well aware of what is going on and is intent on supporting her father in any way she can. She was there in solidarity with her dad and mom,” they added.
The source claimed that while Beyoncé will “do anything” to keep their family together, the news has been “causing a strain” on their marriage. Diddy and Jay-Z have been friends for “over two decades.” While Beyoncé hasn’t addresses the allegations her husband faces, Jay-Z recently hit out at the claims and branded the alleged victims lawyer an “ambulance chaser” trying to extort him – and that his attempts would fail.
Jay-Z responded to the rape claims in a strong statement published on social media. He called the claims against him ‘so heinous in nature’ and slammed Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee, who is representing 120 alleged victims of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. He said: “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.
“This lawyer, who I have done a bit of research on, seems to have a pattern of these type of theatrics! I have no idea how you have come to be such a deplorable human Mr. Buzbee, but I promise you I have seen your kind many times over. I’m more than prepared to deal with your type. You claim to be a marine?! Marines are known for their valor, you have neither honor nor dignity.”
Jay-Z went on to say how it was “unfair” that his family will also be affected by the lawsuit. “My only heartbreak is for my family,” he wrote. “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.
“I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit. My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world, who have to watch how their life story is dressed in costume for profitability by this ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.”
Carter recently filed a motion to make the woman who accused him of raping her reveal her identity. His attorney, Alex Spiro, filed documents on Monday morning asking the judge to make the plaintiff reveal herself. His lawyer said: “Fair is fair. It is not consistent with justice, fairness, or the rules governing federal proceedings for the Plaintiff and her counsel to smear [Jay-Z]’s good name.”
The documents, seen by the Mirror go on to state that Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, had built an “impeccable reputation” and has never been accused of, or engaged in, sexual misconduct. The Mirror has approached Beyoncé’s spokesperson for comment.
