Watch: Harrison Butker kicks Chiefs to thrilling win with 51-yard field goal
When the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals meet you can be certain it is going to be a close, low-scoring game that is going to come down to a kick at the end.
Sunday’s 26-25 Chiefs win was no exception.
It ended with Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker drilling a 51-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Chiefs to a 2-0 record and send the Bengals to their third consecutive 0-2 start.

There are a couple of interesting developments about this drive.
The first is that the Chiefs were aided by a huge pass interference penalty that helped set the Chiefs up in Cincinnati territory.

The other is that as soon as the Chiefs got into Butker’s range, the usually aggressive Andy Reid seemed content to play for a long field goal without getting any closer or taking any risks.
He knows he has one of the NFL’s best kickers, and he trusted him. It worked.
