The superstar couple, who got engaged in August, are rumored to have set their wedding date for June 13, 2026, a nod to Swift’s lucky number, 13 and allegedly secured The Breakers, a lavish 19th-century mansion in Newport, Rhode Island, as their wedding venue.

Social media erupted this week after podcast host Fiona Shea claimed that another couple had been asked to move their wedding date to accommodate the pop icon. “An East Coast woman was planning on getting married somewhere this coming summer, right?” Shea said.

She was reached out to by the establishment… and they said, ‘Hey, would you be willing to actually change the date of your wedding?’ She said, ‘F–k no.’ And they said, ‘This client is willing to pay for your wedding and honeymoon if you change the date of your wedding, because she needs this.’ And this is allegedly Taylor Swift.”

Whether the story is true or not, fans were quick to point out how fitting it would be for Swift to host her wedding near her Watch Hill estate, the $17.75 million oceanfront property she famously calls her sanctuary. The Breakers, built in 1895 for Cornelius Vanderbilt II, spans 70 rooms, boasts Italian gardens, 50-foot ceilings, and Baccarat chandeliers, with an estimated value of $500 million.

Rhode Island has long held special meaning for Swift, who has hosted her star-studded Fourth of July parties there with friends like Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively. The singer once described the state as her “escape from chaos,” a place where she finds peace away from fame.

Swift has also hinted at her future with Kelce in her song “Wi$h Li$t,” where she sings, “Have a couple of kids, got the whole block lookin’ like you.” A source recently told Page Six that “she’s in a hurry to have children,” making a 2026 wedding timeline believable.

While the Preservation Society of Newport County has denied that “Taylor Swift is getting married at The Breakers,” the rumors have already taken on a life of their own, proving once again that when it comes to Taylor Swift, every whisper becomes a global headline.
